The instructors of the Chopin Academy of Music are fully equipped and experienced in successful distance learning during online lessons. Whether using FaceTime, Skype, Zoom, or other platforms, you can transform your practice space and mobile device or laptop into a lesson space from anywhere in the world.
This new opportunity opens the door to anyone anywhere to study with experts in the field at the Chopin Academy of Music. Depending on where you live, you may opt to be 100% online, or even a mixed online/in person experience when opportunities allow at our facility in Issaquah, Washington. Aside from actual instruction, instructors can consult on repertoire, competition programming and strategies, and advising on a successful career in music. Our online lessons are perfectly suitable for advanced repertoire, developing technique from basic to advanced, music comprehension, style and phrasing, music theory, and can work for anyone with a very basic setup. Little more is required other than an instrument, and a smartphone or tablet as well as a reliable internet connection.
Online pupils are still invited to participate live, in person, in our performance classes and concerts whenever travel is possible and desirable to the Seattle greater area. You could be living in Wyoming, Florida, or even Netherlands, and take regular lessons online. When you feel like visiting, you may coincide your vacation to visit, meet your teacher in person, and have a chance to perform.
Chopin Academy of Music offers concert opportunities in the most beautiful and prestigious performance centers, such as the home of the Seattle Symphony – Benaroya Hall, Seattle Art Museum, Carnegie Hall in NYC, among others. Since launching our distance learning program in 2020, our success has proven that online piano lessons, violin lessons, or flute lessons not only work, but that students enrolled 100% in online lessons demonstrate the same capability, if not more so, to succeed in high-level competitions, performances, and artistic achievement, including gold medals in local, regional, and international competitions. The time and money saved driving can be used for learning something new or beneficial. Students actually maximize their lesson time without minutes wasted with packing/unpacking music, adjusting benches, and other distractions. And don’t forget, by not driving, you’re taking a convenient and easy step toward saving the environment!
Commit to as few as 10 lessons, or up to 25 to be used within a 12-month period. Single paid lessons can be arranged (1 per teacher) to try out the experience.
