Every student’s musical journey is different, so the Chopin Academy offers structured programs that scale from first notes to international competition stages. Whether your child is learning for enrichment or preparing a college audition portfolio, there is a clear, well-designed path. Moreover, students enjoy the flexibility to move between paths as their goals evolve.

Below, you will find our core tracks, our advanced programs, and the performance opportunities that tie everything together. In each case, our faculty helps you choose the right starting point.

The General Track is the ideal starting point for beginners and for any student learning for personal enrichment. In particular, it offers flexibility and enjoyment without competition pressure. Explore the General Track →

The Competition Track is designed for dedicated students preparing for specific competitions, festivals, and performances. Accordingly, it includes two lessons per week and a group activity. Explore the Competition Track →

For students reaching toward the highest levels, we offer several specialized programs. First, our Diploma program recognizes years of sustained achievement. Next, College Portfolio Preparation supports audition and application materials. Finally, the Carnegie Debut opportunity gives select students a chance to perform at Carnegie Hall.

Throughout the year, students also take part in the Annual Honors Recital, guest lectures and recitals, and our summer Piano Intermezzo Camp. Together, these programs build a complete musical education.

Above all, frequent performance reinforces every program. Students enjoy monthly recitals, performance classes, and guest-artist masterclasses, along with appearances at venues including Benaroya Hall, the Meydenbauer Center, and Carnegie Hall. Ultimately, this is what turns steady lesson work into genuine artistry.

To round out their studies, students may also add group classes in theory and ear training, or begin with private lessons in piano, violin, viola, cello, or flute.
