The Chopin Academy of Music is always on the lookout for energetic, motivated, highly-qualified, and experienced music instructors. Our teachers enjoy the inspirational and yet fun atmosphere of our music school. We require from all teachers:
minimum credentials of master of music in instrumental performance in one’s main teaching area (or European equivalency)- permanent ability to work legally in the USA
- clear criminal background history
- fluency in English
- live audition in performance (15 min) and teaching during an interview (memorization not required)
- at least two recommendations
- minimum 5 years of teaching experience at the pre-college level
- approachable and dynamic personality
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- timely, responsive communication (within 24 hours to current and perspective students)
- excellent work ethic
- legal ability to work in the USA
- criminal background check
- minimum 3 year commitment to remain with the CAM
