Recital and Class Booking

Use this page to book participation in the Chopin Academy’s general recitals and classes, including group make-up classes. To get started, click “Book Now” below and fill in all relevant information. You must complete every required field to take part in a recital. If you leave required information blank, we may bar the performer from participation. Scroll down to read the full policy on recital participation. You may leave the repertoire sections blank when you sign up for a class.

How to Sign Up for Classes and Recitals

Use the options below to sign up for classes and recitals. Choose the event you want, click “Book Now,” and complete the form. For recitals, the repertoire details matter, so please read the sections that follow before you submit.

Who Can Perform

General recitals are open to all students of the Chopin Academy, as long as the primary instructor has cleared the performer to play. We accept bookings on a first-come, first-served basis.

You may perform more than one piece. However, time constraints sometimes require us to limit each performer to a single piece when demand is high, which allows greater participation. Even after we accept your booking, we may cancel your participation once we calculate timing, in the event that the recital exceeds its time limit.

Choosing Your Repertoire

You may perform only the pieces that the student’s primary instructor has logged onto the profile under the “Repertoire Tracker” section. In addition, you may include only pieces marked “Memorized” or “Performed.”

On the form, enter the piece exactly as it appears on the “Repertoire Tracker” — please use the copy and paste function. Then enter the timing, and round up to the nearest value. If you skip these sections, you may void your eligibility to perform.

Enrollment Deadlines

Please complete enrollment no later than 10 days before the event in question. We will send a final confirmation before the event.

Recital Participation and Etiquette Policy

Every student and family must follow the policy on recital participation and etiquette:

1. Stay home if the performer or any attending family member is sick.
2. Follow the minimum dress code: no sneakers, jeans, or sportswear.
3. Attend and remain for the entire program — please do not leave after your performance.
4. Stay quiet during the program, silence electronic devices, and remain seated during each performance. Use the restroom only between performers, during applause.
5. Record only your own child, unless other families give express permission.
6. Stay supportive and enthusiastic toward every performer.
